"But he became angryand was not willingto goin; and his fathercameout and [began] pleadingwith him.
"Who say,Keepto yourself, do not comenearme, For I am holierthan you!' Theseare smokein My nostrils,A firethat burnsallthe day.
Hearthe wordof the LORD,you whotrembleat His word:"Your brotherswho hateyou, who excludeyou for My name'ssake,Have said,'Let the LORDbe glorified,that we may seeyour joy.'But they will be putto shame.
Indeed,the sonsof Jonadabthe sonof Rechabhave observedthe commandof their fatherwhichhe commandedthem, but thispeoplehas not listenedto Me.'"'
Then Godsaidto Jonah,"Do you have goodreasonto be angryaboutthe plant?"And he said,"I have goodreasonto be angry,even to death."
"When they receivedit, they grumbledat the landowner,
And a lepercameto Jesus, beseechingHim and falling on his knees beforeHim, and saying,"IfYou are willing,You canmake me clean."

Boththe Phariseesand the scribes[began] to grumble,saying,"This manreceivessinnersand eatswith them."

"But he answeredand saidto his father,'Look!For so manyyearsI have been servingyou and I have neverneglecteda commandof yours;and [yet] you have nevergivenme a young goat,sothat I might celebratewith my friends;
and that repentancefor forgivenessof sinswould be proclaimedin His nameto allthe nations,beginningfrom Jerusalem.
The Phariseesand their scribes[began] grumblingat His disciples,saying,"Whydo you eatand drinkwith the tax collectorsand sinners?"
Nowwhen the Phariseewho had invitedHim sawthis, he saidto himself,"Ifthis manwere a prophetHe would knowwhoand what sort of personthiswomanis whois touchingHim, that she is a sinner."
But when the Jewssawthe crowds,they were filledwith jealousyand [began] contradictingthe things spokenby Paul,and were blaspheming.
But the Jewsincitedthe devoutwomenof prominenceand the leading menof the city,and instigateda persecutionagainstPauland Barnabas,and drovethem out of their district.
But Jewscamefrom Antiochand Iconium,and having won overthe crowds,they stonedPauland draggedhim out of the city,supposinghim to be dead.
But the Jewswho disbelievedstirredup the mindsof the Gentilesand embitteredthem againstthe brethren.
But I say,surelyIsraeldid not know,did they? FirstMosessays,"I WILL MAKE YOU JEALOUSBY THAT WHICH IS NOT A NATION,BY A NATIONWITHOUT UNDERSTANDINGWILL I ANGERYOU."
Therefore,we are ambassadorsfor Christ,as thoughGodwere making an appealthroughus; we begyou on behalfof Christ,be reconciledto God.

Then Saulbecameveryangry,for thissayingdispleasedhim; and he said,"They have ascribedto Davidtenthousands,but to me they have ascribedthousands.Now what morecan he have but the kingdom?"
