"Utterlyslayoldmen,youngmen,maidens,littlechildren,and women,but do not touchanymanon whomis the mark;and you shall startfrom My sanctuary."So they startedwith the elderswho[were] beforethe temple.
Petersaid,"Lord,are You addressingthisparableto us, orto everyone[else] as well?"
the masterof that slavewill comeon a daywhenhe does not expect[him] and at an hourhe does not know,and will cut him in pieces,and assignhim a placewith the unbelievers.
"He who rejectsMe and does not receiveMy sayings,hasone who judgeshim; the wordI spokeis whatwill judgehim at the lastday.
Jesusanswered,"You would havenoauthorityoverMe, unlessit had beengivenyou from above;for thisreasonhe who deliveredMe to you has[the] greatersin."
Jesussaidto them, "Ifyou were blind,you would havenosin;but sinceyou say,We see,'your sinremains.
"Thereforehaving overlookedthe timesof ignorance,Godis nowdeclaringto menthat all[people] everywhereshould repent,
Therefore,to one who knows[the] right thingto doand does not doit, to him it is sin.
