You shall not takevengeance,norbearany grudgeagainstthe sonsof your people,but you shall loveyour neighboras yourself; I am the LORD.
HONORYOUR FATHERAND MOTHER;and YOU SHALL LOVEYOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF."

For this,"YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,YOU SHALL NOT COVET,"and ifthere is anyothercommandment,it is summedup in thissaying,"YOU SHALL LOVEYOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF."
For you were calledto freedom,brethren;only[do] not [turn] your freedominto an opportunityfor the flesh,but throughloveserveone another.
"Now,Israel,whatdoes the LORDyour Godrequirefrom you, but to fearthe LORDyour God,to walkin allHis waysand loveHim, and to servethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour soul,
"Moreover the LORDyour Godwill circumciseyour heartand the heartof your descendants,to lovethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour soul,sothat you may live.
"Hear,O Israel!The LORDis our God,the LORDis one!
"You shall lovethe LORDyour Godwith allyour heartand with allyour souland with allyour might.
"FOR THISIS THE COVENANTTHAT I WILL MAKEWITH THE HOUSEOF ISRAELAFTERTHOSEDAYS,SAYSTHE LORD:I WILL PUTMY LAWSINTO THEIR MINDS,AND I WILL WRITETHEM ON THEIR HEARTS.AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD,AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
If,however,you are fulfillingthe royallawaccordingto the Scripture,"YOU SHALL LOVEYOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF,"you are doingwell.
Little children,let us not lovewith wordorwith tongue,but in deedand truth.
