At that timeJesussaid,"I praiseYou, Father,Lordof heavenand earth,that You have hiddenthese thingsfrom [the] wiseand intelligentand have revealedthem to infants.
"All thingshave been handed overto Me by My Father;and no oneknowsthe Sonexceptthe Father;nordoes anyoneknowthe Fatherexceptthe Son,and anyone to whomthe Sonwillsto reveal[Him].
And Jesuscameup and spoketo them, saying,"Allauthorityhas been givento Me in heavenand on earth.
No onehas seenGodat any time;the only begottenGodwho is in the bosomof the Father,He has explained[Him].
evenas the FatherknowsMe and I knowthe Father;and I lay downMy lifefor the sheep.
[Jesus], knowingthat the Fatherhad givenall thingsinto His hands,and that He had come forthfrom Godand was going backto God,
and all thingsthat are Mineare Yours,and Yoursare Mine;and I have been glorifiedin them.
evenas You gaveHim authorityover allflesh,that to allwhomYou have givenHim, He may giveeternallife.
and I have madeYour nameknown to them, and will make it known,sothat the lovewith whichYou lovedMe may be in them, and I in them."
"Now,Father,glorifyMe togetherwith Yourself,with the glorywhichI hadwith You beforethe worldwas.
"The Fatherlovesthe Sonand has givenall thingsinto His hand.
then[comes] the end,whenHe handsover the kingdomto the Godand Father,whenHe has abolishedallruleand allauthorityand power.
For God,who said,"Lightshall shineout of darkness,"is the One whohas shonein our heartsto give the Lightof the knowledgeof the gloryof Godin the faceof Christ.
far aboveallruleand authorityand powerand dominion,and everynamethat is named,not onlyin thisagebut alsoin the one to come.
YOU HAVE PUTALLTHINGSIN SUBJECTIONUNDERHIS FEET."For in subjectingall thingsto him, He leftnothingthat is not subjectto him. But nowwe do not yetseeall thingssubjectedto him.
And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
Anyonewho goes too farand does not abidein the teachingof Christ,does not haveGod;the one who abidesin the teaching,he hasboththe Fatherand the Son.
