And his fatherZachariaswas filledwith the HolySpirit,and prophesied,saying:
"The Spiritof the LORDspokeby me, And His wordwas on my tongue.
"It will comeabout afterthisThat I will pourout My Spiriton allmankind;And your sonsand daughterswill prophesy,Your oldmenwill dreamdreams,Your youngmenwill seevisions.
Then the LORDcamedownin the cloudand spoketo him; and He tookof the Spiritwhowas upon him and placed[Him] upon the seventyelders.And when the Spiritrestedupon them, they prophesied.But they did not do[it] again.
"For he will be greatin the sightof the Lord;and he will drinknowineorliquor,and he will be filledwith the HolySpiritwhile yetin his mother'swomb.
WhenElizabethheardMary'sgreeting,the babyleapedin her womb;and Elizabethwas filledwith the HolySpirit.
And they were allfilledwith the HolySpiritand beganto speakwith othertongues,as the Spiritwas givingthem utterance.
"And howis it that we eachhear[them] in our ownlanguageto whichwe were born?
SoAnaniasdepartedand enteredthe house,and after layinghis handson him said,"BrotherSaul,the LordJesus,who appearedto you on the roadby whichyou were coming,has sentme sothat you may regain your sightand be filledwith the HolySpirit."
for noprophecywas evermadeby an act of humanwill,but menmovedby the HolySpiritspokefrom God.
