If [there is] a manwhocommitsadulterywith another man'swife,one whocommitsadulterywith his friend'swife,the adultererand the adulteressshall surelybe putto death.

Then Davidsaidto Nathan,"I have sinnedagainst the LORD."And Nathansaidto David,"The LORDalsohas takenawayyour sin;you shall not die.
"For that would be a lustfulcrime;Moreover, it would be an iniquity[punishable by] judges.
"Ifmy hearthas been enticedby a woman,Or I have lurkedat my neighbor'sdoorway,
"You shall not commitadultery.
You shall not haveintercoursewith your neighbor'swife,to be defiledwith her.
"But not onehas done[so] who has a remnantof the Spirit.And whatdid [that] one[do] while he was seekinga godlyoffspring?Takeheedthen to your spirit,and let noone dealtreacherouslyagainst the wifeof your youth.
and a manhasintercoursewith her and it is hiddenfrom the eyesof her husbandand she is undetected,although she has defiledherself,and thereis nowitnessagainst her and she has not been caughtin the act,
You shall not commitadultery.
