For on accountof a harlot[one is reduced] to a loafof bread,And an adulteresshuntsfor the preciouslife.
"For her bloodis in her midst;She placedit on the barerock;She did not pourit on the groundTo coverit with dust.
"ThereforeI saidto the sonsof Israel,'Nopersonamongyou may eatblood,normay any alienwho sojournsamongyou eatblood.'
You are not to eatanyblood,either of birdor animal,in anyof your dwellings.
