then the priestshall giveordersto taketwolivecleanbirdsand cedarwoodand a scarletstringand hyssopfor the one who is to be cleansed.
Purifyme with hyssop,and I shall be clean;Washme, and I shall be whiterthansnow.
"You shall takea bunchof hyssopand dipit in the bloodwhichis in the basin,and applysomeof the bloodthat is in the basinto the linteland the twodoorposts;and noneof you shall gooutsidethe doorof his houseuntilmorning.
But ifhis offeringto the LORDis a burntofferingof birds,then he shall bringhis offeringfrom the turtledovesorfrom youngpigeons.
But ifshe cannotafforda lamb,then she shall taketwoturtledovesortwoyoungpigeons,the onefor a burntofferingand the otherfor a sinoffering;and the priestshall makeatonementfor her, and she will be clean.'"

A cleanpersonshall takehyssopand dip[it] in the water,and sprinkle[it] on the tentand on allthe furnishingsand on the personswhowere there,and on the one who touchedthe boneorthe oneslainorthe one dying[naturally] orthe grave.
The priestshall takecedarwoodand hyssopand scarlet[material] and castit into the midstof the burningheifer.
For when everycommandmenthad been spokenby Mosesto allthe peopleaccordingto the Law,he tookthe bloodof the calvesand the goats,with waterand scarletwooland hyssop,and sprinkledboththe bookitselfand allthe people,
