You shall not eatof their fleshnortouchtheir carcasses;they are uncleanto you.
Depart,depart,goout from there,Touchnothingunclean;Goout of the midstof her, purifyyourselves, You who carrythe vesselsof the LORD.
They will not remainin the LORD'Sland,But Ephraimwill returnto Egypt,And in Assyriathey will eatunclean[food].
and the pig,for though it dividesthe hoof,thus makinga splithoof,it does not chewcud,it is uncleanto you.
Theseyou may eat,whateveris in the water:allthat have finsand scales,those in the water,in the seasor in the rivers,you may eat.
Orifa persontouchesanyuncleanthing,whethera carcassof an uncleanbeastorthe carcassof uncleancattleora carcassof uncleanswarmingthings,though it is hiddenfrom him and he is unclean,then he will be guilty.
"[It is] not whatentersinto the mouth[that] defilesthe man,but whatproceedsout of the mouth,thisdefilesthe man."
"Theseare the things which defilethe man;but to eatwith unwashedhandsdoes not defilethe man."
there is nothingoutsidethe manwhich candefilehim if it goesinto him; but the things which proceedout of the manare what defilethe man.
And He saidto them, "Are you solacking in understandingalso?Do you not understandthat whatevergoesinto the manfrom outsidecannotdefilehim,
and had seenthat someof His discipleswere eatingtheir breadwith impurehands,that is, unwashed.
And he saidto them, "You yourselvesknowhowunlawfulit is for a manwho is a Jewto associatewith a foreignerorto visithim; and [yet] Godhas shownme that I should not callanymanunholyorunclean.
that you abstainfrom things sacrificed to idolsand from bloodand from things strangledand from fornication;if you keepyourselvesfreefrom suchthings,you will dowell.Farewell."
It is goodnot to eatmeatorto drinkwine,or[to do anything] by whichyour brotherstumbles.
But foodwill not commendus to God;we are neitherthe worseifwe do not eat,northe betterifwe do eat.
"Therefore,COMEOUT FROM THEIR MIDSTAND BE SEPARATE,"saysthe Lord."AND DO NOT TOUCHWHAT IS UNCLEAN;And I will welcomeyou.
Do not participatein the unfruitfuldeedsof darkness,but insteadevenexposethem;
Thereforedo not be partakerswith them;
Thereforenooneis to act as your judgein regard to foodordrinkorin respectto a festivalora new moonora Sabbathday--
since they [relate] onlyto foodand drinkand variouswashings,regulationsfor the bodyimposeduntila timeof reformation.
