The LORDsmelledthe soothingaroma;and the LORDsaidto Himself,"I will neveragaincursethe groundon accountof man,for the intentof man'sheartis evilfrom his youth;and I will neveragaindestroyeverylivingthing,as I have done.
the sonof Elkanah,the sonof Jeroham,the sonof Eliel,the sonof Toah,
He also madetenbasinsin whichto wash,and he setfiveon the rightsideand fiveon the leftto rinsethingsfor the burntoffering;but the sea[was] for the prieststo washin.
Behold,You desiretruthin the innermostbeing,And in the hiddenpartYou will make me knowwisdom.
I shall offerto You burntofferingsof fatbeasts,With the smokeof rams;I shall make[an offering of] bullswith malegoats.Selah.
Do not eatanyof it rawor boiledat allwith water,but ratherroastedwith fire,[both] its headand its legsalongwith its entrails.
"You shall offerup in smokethe wholeramon the altar;it is a burntofferingto the LORD:it is a soothingaroma,an offeringby fireto the LORD.
"You shall takethem from their hands,and offerthem up in smokeon the altaron the burntofferingfor a soothingaromabeforethe LORD;it is an offeringby fireto the LORD.
Washyour heartfrom evil,O Jerusalem,That you may be saved.Howlongwill your wickedthoughtsLodgewithinyou?
"When I had broughtthem into the landwhichI sworeto giveto them, then they saweveryhighhilland everyleafytree,and they offeredtheretheir sacrificesand therethey presentedthe provocationof their offering.Therealso they madetheir soothingaromaand therethey pouredout their drinkofferings.
"As a soothingaromaI will acceptyou when I bringyou out from the peoplesand gatheryou from the landswhereyou are scattered;and I will proveMyself holyamong you in the sightof the nations.
A chamberwith its doorwaywas by the sidepillarsat the gates;therethey rinsethe burntoffering.

Then he shall tearit by its wings,[but] shall not sever[it]. And the priestshall offerit up in smokeon the altaron the woodwhichis on the fire;it is a burntoffering,an offeringby fireof a soothingaromato the LORD.
The priestshall offerup in smokeits memorialportion,part of its gritsand its oilwith allits incenseas an offeringby fireto the LORD.
He shall then bringit to Aaron'ssonsthe priests;and shall takefrom it his handfulof its fineflourand of its oilwith allof its frankincense.And the priestshall offer[it] up in smoke[as] its memorialportionon the altar,an offeringby fireof a soothingaromato the LORD.
The priestthen shall takeup from the grain offeringits memorialportion,and shall offer[it] up in smokeon the altar[as] an offeringby fireof a soothingaromato the LORD.
Then the priestshall offer[it] up in smokeon the altar[as] food,an offeringby fireto the LORD.
Then Aaron'ssonsshall offer[it] up in smokeon the altaron the burntoffering,whichis on the woodthat is on the fire;it is an offeringby fireof a soothingaromato the LORD.
Then he shall removeallits fat,justas the fatwas removedfrom the sacrificeof peaceofferings;and the priestshall offerit up in smokeon the altarfor a soothingaromato the LORD.Thus the priestshall makeatonementfor him, and he will be forgiven.
Now thisis the lawof the grain offering:the sonsof Aaronshall presentit beforethe LORDin frontof the altar.
After he had washedthe entrailsand the legswith water,Mosesofferedup the wholeramin smokeon the altar.It was a burntofferingfor a soothingaroma;it was an offeringby fireto the LORD,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
Then Mosestookthem from their handsand offeredthem up in smokeon the altarwith the burntoffering.They were an ordinationofferingfor a soothingaroma;it was an offeringby fireto the LORD.
He also washedthe entrailsand the legs,and offered[them] up in smokewith the burntofferingon the altar.
"Awake,O sword,againstMy Shepherd,And againstthe man,My Associate,"Declaresthe LORDof hosts."Strikethe Shepherdthat the sheepmay be scattered;And I will turnMy handagainstthe littleones.
then makean offeringby fireto the LORD,a burntofferingora sacrificeto fulfilla specialvow,oras a freewillofferingorin your appointedtimes,to makea soothingaromato the LORD,from the herdorfrom the flock.
Then at the beginningof each of your monthsyou shall presenta burntofferingto the LORD:twobullsand oneram,sevenmalelambsone yearoldwithoutdefect;
Then the drinkofferingwith it [shall be] a fourthof a hinfor eachlamb,in the holyplace you shall pourout a drinkofferingof strongdrinkto the LORD.
The otherlambyou shall offerat twilight;as the grain offeringof the morningand as its drinkoffering,you shall offerit, an offeringby fire,a soothingaromato the LORD.
For we are a fragranceof Christto Godamongthosewho are being savedand amongthosewho are perishing;
and walkin love,justas Christalsolovedyou and gaveHimselfup for us, an offeringand a sacrificeto Godas a fragrantaroma.
"And you shall offeryour burntofferings,the fleshand the blood,on the altarof the LORDyour God;and the bloodof your sacrificesshall be pouredout on the altarof the LORDyour God,and you shall eatthe flesh.
But I have receivedeverythingin fulland have an abundance;I am amply supplied,having receivedfrom Epaphrodituswhat you have sent,a fragrantaroma,an acceptablesacrifice,well-pleasingto God.
