Contend,O LORD,with those who contendwith me; Fightagainstthose who fightagainst me.
Stirup Yourself, and awaketo my rightAnd to my cause,my Godand my Lord.
Vindicateme, O God,and pleadmy caseagainstan ungodlynation;O deliverme from the deceitfuland unjustman!
For You have maintainedmy justcause;You have saton the thronejudgingrighteously.
Woeto me, my mother,that you have borneme [As] a manof strifeand a manof contentionto allthe land!I have not lent,norhave men lentmoney to me, [Yet] everyonecursesme.
To defrauda manin his lawsuit--Of these things the Lorddoes not approve.
You have seenalltheir vengeance,Alltheir schemesagainst me.
and while being reviled,He did not revile in return;while suffering,He utterednothreats,but kept entrusting[Himself] to Him who judgesrighteously;
