Creatingthe praiseof the lips.Peace,peaceto him who is farand to him who is near,"Saysthe LORD,"and I will healhim."
"Whateverhouseyou enter,firstsay,'Peace[be] to thishouse.'
AND HE CAMEAND PREACHEDPEACETO YOU WHOWERE FAR AWAY,AND PEACETO THOSEWHO WERE NEAR;
"Whenyou approacha cityto fightagainstit, you shall offerit termsof peace.
and Lebaothand Shilhimand Ainand Rimmon;in all,twenty-ninecitieswith their villages.
The rest turnedand fledtoward the wildernessto the rockof Rimmon,but they caught5000of them on the highwaysand overtookthem at Gidomand killed2000of them.
But 600menturnedand fledtoward the wildernessto the rockof Rimmon,and they remainedat the rockof Rimmonfourmonths.
And they foundamongthe inhabitantsof Jabesh-gilead400youngvirginswhohad not knowna manby lyingwith him; and they broughtthem to the campat Shiloh,whichis in the landof Canaan.
Benjaminreturnedat that time,and they gavethem the womenwhomthey had keptalivefrom the womenof Jabesh-gilead;yet they were not enoughfor them.
