Then allthe sonsof Israelfrom Danto Beersheba,including the landof Gilead,cameout, and the congregationassembledas onemanto the LORDat Mizpah.
Thus allthe menof Israelwere gatheredagainstthe city,unitedas oneman.
"Behold,allyou sonsof Israel,giveyour adviceand counselhere."
"But nowthisis the thingwhichwe will doto Gibeah;[we will go up] againstit by lot.
Now the menof Israelhad swornin Mizpah,saying,"Noneof us shall givehis daughterto Benjaminin marriage."
Then the sonsof Israelsaid,"Whois there amongallthe tribesof Israelwhodid not comeup in the assemblyto the LORD?"For they had takena greatoathconcerning him whodid not comeup to the LORDat Mizpah,saying,"He shall surelybe putto death."
