Then Delilahsaidto Samson,"Up to nowyou have deceivedme and toldme lies;tellme howyou may be bound."And he saidto her, "Ifyou weavethe sevenlocksof my hairwith the web[and fastenit with a pin,then I will become weakand be like anyother man."
However she weptbeforehim sevendayswhiletheir feastlasted.And on the seventhdayhe toldher becauseshe pressedhim so hard.She then toldthe riddleto the sonsof her people.
Then Delilahsaidto Samson,"Behold,you have deceivedme and toldme lies;nowpleasetellme howyou may be bound."
So Delilahtooknewropesand boundhim with them and saidto him, "The Philistinesare upon you, Samson!"For the [men] were lyingin waitin the innerroom.But he snappedthe ropes from his armslike a thread.
So while he slept,Delilah took the sevenlocksof his hairand wove them into the web]. And she fastened[it] with the pinand saidto him, "The Philistinesare upon you, Samson!"But he awokefrom his sleepand pulledout the pinof the loomand the web.
