Then Jephthahsaidto the eldersof Gilead,"Did you not hateme and driveme from my father'shouse?So whyhave you cometo me nowwhenyou are in trouble?"
Isaacsaidto them, "Whyhave you cometo me, since you hateme and have sentme awayfrom you?"
"Comeand let us sellhim to the Ishmaelitesand not layour handson him, for he is our brother,our [own] flesh."And his brotherslistened[to him].
A friendlovesat alltimes,And a brotheris bornfor adversity.
"The sonsof those who afflictedyou will comebowingto you, And allthose who despisedyou will bowthemselves at the solesof your feet;And they will callyou the cityof the LORD,The Zionof the HolyOneof Israel.
Behold,I will cause[those] of the synagogueof Satan,who saythat they are Jewsand are not, but lie--I will makethem comeand bow downat your feet,and [make them] knowthat I have lovedyou.
and they saidto Jephthah,"Comeand be our chiefthat we may fightagainst the sonsof Ammon."
