"So our eldersand allthe inhabitantsof our countryspoketo us, saying,'Takeprovisionsin your handfor the journey,and goto meetthem and sayto them, "We are your servants;nowthen, makea covenantwith us."'
"Takedouble[the] moneyin your hand,and takebackin your handthe moneythat was returnedin the mouthof your sacks;perhapsit was a mistake.
And the one who[was] overthe household,and he who[was] overthe city,the elders,and the guardiansof [the children], sent[word] to Jehu,saying,"We are your servants,allthat you sayto us we will do,we will not makeanymanking;dowhatis goodin your sight."
In eachand everyprovinceand in eachand everycity,whereverthe king'scommandmentand his decreearrived,there was gladnessand joyfor the Jews,a feastand a holiday.And manyamongthe peoplesof the landbecameJews,for the dreadof the Jewshad fallenon them.

"Passthrough the midstof the campand commandthe people,saying,'Prepareprovisionsfor yourselves, for withinthreedaysyou are to crossthisJordan,to goin to possessthe landwhichthe LORDyour Godis givingyou, to possessit.'"
and allthat He didto the twokingsof the Amoriteswhowere beyondthe Jordan,to Sihonkingof Heshbonand to Ogkingof Bashanwhowas at Ashtaroth.
"Thisour bread[was] warm[when] we tookit for our provisionsout of our houseson the daythat we leftto cometo you; but nowbehold,it is dryand has becomecrumbled.
But they saidto Joshua,"We are your servants."Then Joshuasaidto them, "Whoare you and wheredo you comefrom?"
