Moreover,mandoes not knowhis time:like fishcaughtin a treacherousnetand birdstrappedin a snare,so the sonsof menare ensnaredat an eviltimewhen it suddenlyfallson them.

So they stationedthe people,allthe armythat was on the northsideof the city,and its rearguardon the westsideof the city,and Joshuaspentthat nightin the midstof the valley.
Joshuaand allIsraelpretendedto be beatenbeforethem, and fledby the wayof the wilderness.
And allthe peoplewhowere in the citywere calledtogetherto pursuethem, and they pursuedJoshuaand were drawnawayfrom the city.
"Then I and allthe peoplewhoare with me will approachthe city.And whenthey comeout to meetus as at the first,we will fleebeforethem.
and in [their] greedthey will exploityou with false words;their judgmentfrom long agois not idle,and their destructionis not asleep.
