"Then I commandedyou at that time,saying,The LORDyour Godhas givenyou thislandto possessit; allyou valiantmenshall crossoverarmedbeforeyour brothers,the sonsof Israel.
"Hear,O Israel!You are crossingoverthe Jordantodayto goin to dispossessnationsgreaterand mightierthanyou, greatcitiesfortifiedto heaven,
