Early in the morningHe cameagaininto the temple,and allthe peoplewere comingto Him; and He sat downand [began] to teachthem.
At that timeJesussaidto the crowds,"Have you comeout with swordsand clubsto arrestMe as [you would] againsta robber?EverydayI used to sitin the templeteachingand you did not seizeMe.
Nowduring the dayHe was teachingin the temple,but at eveningHe would goout and spend the nighton the mountthat is calledOlivet.
And He closedthe book,gave it backto the attendantand sat down;and the eyesof allin the synagoguewere fixedon Him.
And He gotinto oneof the boats,whichwas Simon's,and askedhim to putout a little wayfrom the land.And He sat downand [began] teachingthe peoplefrom the boat.
ThesewordsHe spokein the treasury,as He taughtin the temple;and no oneseizedHim, becauseHis hourhad not yetcome.
Jesussaidto them, "My foodis to dothe willof Him who sentMe and to accomplishHis work.
Yet I sentyou allMy servantsthe prophets,againand again,saying,"Oh,do not dothisabominablethingwhichI hate."
"From the thirteenthyearof Josiahthe sonof Amon,kingof Judah,even to thisday,thesetwenty-threeyearsthe wordof the LORDhas cometo me, and I have spokento you againand again,but you have not listened.
Whateveryour handfindsto do,do[it] with [all] your might;for thereis noactivityor planningor knowledgeor wisdomin Sheolwhereyou are going.
"They have turned[their] backto Me and not [their] face;though [I] taughtthem, teachingagainand again,they would not listenand receiveinstruction.
And allthe peoplewould get up early in the morning[to come] to Him in the templeto listento Him.
The scribesand the Phariseesbroughta womancaughtin adultery,and having sether in the center[of the court],
Upon hearing[this], they enteredinto the templeaboutdaybreakand [began] to teach.Nowwhen the high priestand his associatescame,they calledthe Counciltogether,evenallthe Senateof the sonsof Israel,and sent[orders] to the prison housefor them to be brought.
