Thereforewhen the peoplesawthe signwhichHe had performed,they said,"Thisis trulythe Prophetwho is to comeinto the world."
"The sceptershall not departfrom Judah,Northe ruler'sstafffrom betweenhis feet,UntilShilohcomes,And to him [shall be] the obedienceof the peoples.
and saidto Him, "Are You the ExpectedOne, orshall we lookfor someone else?"
And the crowdswere saying,"Thisis the prophetJesus,from Nazarethin Galilee."
And He saidto them, "What things?"And they saidto Him, "The things aboutJesusthe Nazarene,whowas a prophetmightyin deedand wordin the sightof Godand allthe people,
Feargrippedthem all,and they [began] glorifyingGod,saying,"A greatprophethas arisenamongus!" and, "Godhas visitedHis people!"
They askedhim, "Whatthen?Are you Elijah?"And he said,"I amnot." "Are you the Prophet?"And he answered,"No."
She saidto Him, "Yes,Lord;I have believedthat You are the Christ,the Sonof God,[even] He who comesinto the world."
Thisbeginningof [His] signsJesusdidin Canaof Galilee,and manifestedHis glory,and His disciplesbelievedin Him.
The womansaidto Him, "Sir,I perceivethat You are a prophet.
The womansaidto Him, "I knowthat Messiahis coming(He who is calledChrist);whenthat Onecomes,He will declareall thingsto us."
and they were sayingto the woman,"It is no longerbecauseof what you saidthat we believe,for we have heardfor ourselvesand knowthat this Oneis indeedthe Saviorof the world."
A largecrowdfollowedHim, becausethey sawthe signswhichHe was performingon thosewho were sick.
Jesusansweredthem and said,"Truly,truly,I sayto you, you seekMe, not becauseyou sawsigns,but becauseyou ateof the loavesand were filled.
Sothey saidto Him, "Whatthendo You dofor a sign,sothat we may see,and believeYou? Whatwork do You perform?
[Some] of the peopletherefore,when they heardthesewords,were saying,"Thiscertainlyis the Prophet."
"Thisis the Moseswho saidto the sonsof Israel,GODWILL RAISEUP FOR YOU A PROPHETLIKEME FROM YOUR BRETHREN.'
