Jesusansweredand saidto him, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, unlessoneis bornagainhe cannotseethe kingdomof God."
Nowhearthis,O foolishand senselesspeople,Who have eyesbut do not see;Who have earsbut do not hear.
"Moreover, I will giveyou a newheartand puta newspiritwithinyou; and I will removethe heartof stonefrom your fleshand giveyou a heartof flesh.
And Jesussaidto him, "Blessedare you, SimonBarjona,becausefleshand blooddid not reveal[this] to you, but My Fatherwhois in heaven.
"AgainI sayto you, it is easierfor a camelto go throughthe eyeof a needle,thanfor a rich manto enterthe kingdomof God."
"Whichof the twodidthe willof his father?"They said,"The first."Jesussaidto them, "TrulyI sayto you that the tax collectorsand prostituteswill getinto the kingdomof Godbeforeyou.
"For trulyI sayto you, untilheavenand earthpassaway,not the smallestletterorstrokeshall passfrom the Lawuntilallis accomplished.
But when Jesussawthis, He was indignantand saidto them, "Permitthe childrento cometo Me; do not hinderthem; for the kingdomof Godbelongsto such as these.
"Ifyour eyecauses you to stumble,throwit out; it is betterfor you to enterthe kingdomof Godwith one eye,than,havingtwoeyes,to be castinto hell,
whowere born,not of bloodnorof the willof the fleshnorof the willof man,but of God.
The Lightshinesin the darkness,and the darknessdid not comprehendit.
And He saidto him, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, you will seethe heavensopenedand the angelsof Godascendingand descendingon the Sonof Man."
"HE HAS BLINDEDTHEIR EYESAND HE HARDENEDTHEIR HEART,SOTHAT THEY WOULD NOT SEEWITH THEIR EYESAND PERCEIVEWITH THEIR HEART,AND BE CONVERTEDAND I HEALTHEM."
Nicodemussaidto Him, "Howcana manbe bornwhen he is old?He cannotentera second timeinto his mother'swomband be born,can he?"
in whosecasethe godof thisworldhas blindedthe mindsof the unbelievingsothat they might not seethe lightof the gospelof the gloryof Christ,whois the imageof God.
Thereforeifanyoneis in Christ,[he is] a newcreature;the old thingspassed away;behold,new thingshave come.
For neitheris circumcisionanything,noruncircumcision,but a newcreation.
And you were deadin your trespassesand sins,
"Yet to thisdaythe LORDhas not givenyou a heartto know,noreyesto see,norearsto hear.
He savedus, not on the basisof deedswhichwe have donein righteousness,but accordingto His mercy,by the washingof regenerationand renewingby the HolySpirit,
But the wisdomfrom aboveis firstpure,thenpeaceable,gentle,reasonable,fullof mercyand goodfruits,unwavering,without hypocrisy.
Blessedbe the Godand Fatherof our LordJesusChrist,who accordingto His greatmercyhas caused us to be born againto a livinghopethroughthe resurrectionof JesusChristfrom the dead,
Ifyou knowthat He is righteous,you knowthat everyonealsowho practicesrighteousnessis bornof Him.
Noonewho is bornof Godpracticessin,becauseHis seedabidesin him; and he cannotsin,becausehe is bornof God.
Whoeverbelievesthat Jesusis the Christis bornof God,and whoeverlovesthe Fatherlovesthe [child] bornof Him.
We knowthat noonewho is bornof Godsins;but He who was bornof Godkeepshim, and the evil onedoes not touchhim.
For whateveris bornof Godovercomesthe world;and thisis the victorythat has overcomethe world--our faith.
"To the angelof the churchin Laodiceawrite:The Amen,the faithfuland true Witness,the Beginningof the creationof God,saysthis:
