There was recliningon Jesus'bosomoneof His disciples,whomJesusloved.
Soshe ranand cameto SimonPeterand to the otherdisciplewhomJesusloved,and saidto them, "They have taken awaythe Lordout of the tomb,and we do not knowwherethey have laidHim."
When JesusthensawHis mother,and the disciplewhomHe lovedstanding nearby,He saidto His mother,"Woman,behold,your son!"
For the loveof Christcontrolsus, having concludedthis,that onediedfor all,thereforealldied;
Thisis the disciplewho is testifyingto these thingsand wrotethese things,and we knowthat his testimonyis true.
Peter,turning around,sawthe disciplewhomJesuslovedfollowing[them]; the one whoalsohad leaned backon His bosomat the supperand said,"Lord,whois the one who betraysYou?"

"Ifanyonesaysto you, 'Whyare you doingthis?'you say,'The Lordhasneedof it'; and immediatelyhe will sendit backhere."

Thisis the LORD'Sdoing;It is marvelousin our eyes.

"Be dressed in readiness,and [keep] your lampslit.
But the otherdisciplescamein the little boat,for they were not farfrom the land,but aboutone hundredyardsaway,draggingthe net[full] of fish.
