Jesussaidto her, "Woman,whyare you weeping?Whomare you seeking?"SupposingHim to be the gardener,she saidto Him, "Sir,ifyou have carried Him away,tellme whereyou have laidHim, and I will take Him away."
I must arisenowand goaboutthe city;In the streetsand in the squaresI must seekhim whommy soulloves.'I soughthim but did not findhim.
"Wherehas your belovedgone,O most beautifulamong women?Wherehas your belovedturned,That we may seekhim with you?"
"You broodof vipers,howcanyou, beingevil,speakwhat is good?For the mouthspeaksout of that which fillsthe heart.
The angelsaidto the women,"Do not be afraid;for I knowthat you are lookingfor Jesuswho has been crucified.
And he saidto them, "Do not be amazed;you are lookingfor Jesusthe Nazarene,who has been crucified.He has risen;He is not here;behold,[here is] the placewherethey laidHim.
but supposedHim to be in the caravan,and wenta day'sjourney;and they [began] lookingfor Him amongtheir relativesand acquaintances.
and as [the women] were terrifiedand bowedtheir facesto the ground,[the men] saidto them, "Whydo you seekthe livingOne amongthe dead?
And Jesusturnedand sawthem following,and saidto them, "Whatdo you seek?"They saidto Him, "Rabbi(whichtranslatedmeansTeacher),whereare You staying?"
SoJesus,knowingall the thingsthat were comingupon Him, went forthand saidto them, "Whomdo you seek?"
ThereforeHe againaskedthem, "Whomdo you seek?"And they said,"Jesusthe Nazarene."
And they saidto her, "Woman,whyare you weeping?"She saidto them, "Becausethey have taken awaymy Lord,and I do not knowwherethey have laidHim."
"Do not consideryour maidservantas a worthlesswoman,for I have spokenuntilnowout of my greatconcernand provocation."
