Nowthe slavesand the officerswere standing[there], having madea charcoal fire,for it was coldand they were warmingthemselves; and Peterwas alsowith them, standingand warminghimself.
"Let my soulnot enterinto their council;Let not my glorybe unitedwith their assembly;Becausein their angerthey slewmen,And in their self-willthey lamedoxen.
Then he camethereto a caveand lodgedthere;and behold,the wordof the LORD[came] to him, and He saidto him, "Whatare you doing here,Elijah?"
How blessedis the manwhodoes not walkin the counselof the wicked,Norstandin the pathof sinners,Norsitin the seatof scoffers!
He who walkswith wisemenwill be wise,But the companionof foolswill sufferharm.
Peterhad followedHim at a distance,rightinto the courtyardof the high priest;and he was sittingwith the officersand warminghimself at the fire.
and seeingPeterwarminghimself, she lookedat him and said,"You alsowere with Jesusthe Nazarene."
And beingin agonyHe was prayingveryfervently;and His sweatbecamelikedropsof blood,falling downupon the ground.
NowSimonPeterwas standingand warminghimself. Sothey saidto him, "You are not also[one] of His disciples,are you?" He denied[it], and said,"I amnot."
Judasthen,having receivedthe [Roman] cohortand officersfrom the chief priestsand the Pharisees,cametherewith lanternsand torchesand weapons.
Sowhenthey gotout on the land,they sawa charcoal fire[already] laidand fishplacedon it, and bread.
When they had been released,they wentto their own[companions] and reportedallthat the chief priestsand the eldershad saidto them.
Do not be deceived:"Badcompanycorruptsgoodmorals."
