"But these thingsI have spokento you, sothat whentheir hourcomes,you may rememberthat I toldyou of them. These thingsI did not sayto you at the beginning,becauseI was with you.
"And as you go,preach,saying,The kingdomof heavenis at hand.'
"Behold,I have told you in advance.
And Jesussaidto them, "The attendantsof the bridegroomcannotmournas longas the bridegroomis with them, can they? But the dayswill comewhenthe bridegroomis taken awayfrom them, and thenthey will fast.
"But take heed;behold,I have toldyou everythingin advance.
And Jesussaidto them, "Whilethe bridegroomis with them, the attendantsof the bridegroomcannotfast,can they? Solongas they havethe bridegroomwith them, they cannotfast.
justas they were handed downto us by thosewho from the beginningwere eyewitnessesand servantsof the word,
"From nowon I am tellingyou before[it] comesto pass,sothat whenit does occur,you may believethat I am[He].
"NowI have toldyou beforeit happens,sothat whenit happens,you may believe.
for I will showhim how muchhe mustsufferfor My name'ssake."
Do you not rememberthat while I was stillwith you, I was tellingyou these things?
knowingthat the laying asideof my [earthly] dwellingis imminent,as alsoour LordJesusChristhas made clearto me.
