Jesusansweredthem, "Has it not beenwrittenin your Law,I SAID,YOU ARE GODS'?
I will giveYou thankswith allmy heart;I will singpraisesto You beforethe gods.
GodtakesHis standin His own congregation;He judgesin the midstof the rulers.
"You shall not curseGod,norcursea rulerof your people.
"Moreover, he shall speakfor you to the people;and he will be as a mouthfor you and you will be as Godto him.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"See,I makeyou [as] Godto Pharaoh,and your brotherAaronshall be your prophet.
"Ifhe calledthem gods,to whomthe wordof Godcame(and the Scripturecannotbe broken),
The crowdthenansweredHim, "We have heardout of the Lawthat the Christis to remainforever;and howcan You say,The Sonof Manmustbe liftedup'? Whois thisSonof Man?"
"But [they have done this] to fulfillthe wordthat is writtenin their Law,THEY HATEDME WITHOUT A CAUSE.'
"Evenin your lawit has been writtenthat the testimonyof twomenis true.
In the Lawit is written,"BY MEN OF STRANGE TONGUESAND BY THE LIPSOF STRANGERSI WILL SPEAKTO THISPEOPLE,AND EVENSOTHEY WILL NOT LISTENTO ME," saysthe Lord.
