WhichI have reservedfor the timeof distress,For the dayof warand battle?
"But the godlessin heartlayup anger;They do not cryfor helpwhenHe bindsthem.
"For by these He judgespeoples;He givesfoodin abundance.
"Have you enteredthe storehousesof the snow,Or have you seenthe storehousesof the hail,
"Whereis the waythat the lightis divided,[Or] the eastwindscatteredon the earth?
"Behold,about this timetomorrow,I will senda veryheavyhail,suchas has not been[seen] in Egyptfrom the dayit was foundeduntilnow.
So there was hail,and fireflashingcontinually in the midstof the hail,verysevere,suchas had not beenin allthe landof Egyptsinceit becamea nation.
And the LORDwill cause His voiceof authorityto be heard,And the descendingof His armto be seenin fierceanger,And [in] the flameof a consumingfireIn cloudburst,downpourand hailstones.
"The rainfell,and the floodscame,and the windsblewand slammed againstthat house;and it fell--and greatwas its fall."
As they fledfrom beforeIsrael,[while] they were at the descentof Beth-horon,the LORDthrewlargestonesfrom heavenon them as faras Azekah,and they died;[there were] morewhodiedfrom the hailstonesthanthose whomthe sonsof Israelkilledwith the sword.
And hugehailstones,aboutone hundred poundseach, came downfrom heavenupon men;and menblasphemedGodbecauseof the plagueof the hail,becauseits plaguewas extremelysevere.
