"Soare the pathsof allwhoforgetGod;And the hopeof the godlesswill perish,
"For whatwill it profita manifhe gainsthe wholeworldand forfeitshis soul?Orwhatwill a mangivein exchangefor his soul?
"But woeto you, scribesand Pharisees,hypocrites,becauseyou shutoff the kingdomof heavenfrom people;for you do not enterin yourselves,nordo you allowthosewho are enteringto goin.
"For whatis a manprofitedif he gainsthe wholeworld,and losesorforfeitshimself?
"We knowthat Goddoes not hearsinners;but ifanyoneis God-fearingand doesHis will,He hearshim.
"Then you returnedand weptbeforethe LORD;but the LORDdid not listento your voicenorgiveearto you.
"Then you will cryout in that daybecauseof your kingwhomyou have chosenfor yourselves, but the LORDwill not answeryou in that day."
