Then Jobanswered,
"Bearwith me that I may speak;Then afterI have spoken,you may mock.
"Howevernow, Job,pleasehearmy speech,And listento allmy words.
"Hearmy words,you wisemen,And listento me, you who know.
"Whydo you spendmoneyfor what is not bread,And your wagesfor whatdoes not satisfy?Listencarefullyto Me, and eatwhatis good,And delightyourselfin abundance.
For thisreasonwe mustpaymuch closerattentionto what we have heard,sothat we do not drift away[from it].
