"Indeed,you doawaywith reverenceAnd hindermeditationbeforeGod.
"Should he arguewith uselesstalk,Or with wordswhich are not profitable?
"For your guiltteachesyour mouth,And you choosethe languageof the crafty.
"Will he takedelightin the Almighty?Will he callon Godat alltimes?
"But as for me, I would seekGod,And I would placemy causebeforeGod;
"For the despairingman[there should be] kindnessfrom his friend;So that he does not forsakethe fearof the Almighty.
It is timefor the LORDto act,[For] they have brokenYour law.
And they do not cryto Me from their heartWhenthey wailon their beds;For the sakeof grainand newwinethey assemblethemselves, They turnawayfrom Me.
Then one's uncle,or his undertaker,will lifthim up to carryout [his] bonesfrom the house,and he will sayto the one whois in the innermostpartof the house,"Is anyone elsewith you?" And that one will say,"Noone."Then he will answer,"Keepquiet.For the nameof the LORDis not to be mentioned."
And those who have turnedbackfrom followingthe LORD,And those whohave not soughtthe LORDor inquiredof Him."
NowHe was tellingthem a parableto show that at all timesthey oughtto prayand not to lose heart,
Do we thennullifythe Lawthroughfaith?May it neverbe! On the contrary,we establishthe Law.
"I do not nullifythe graceof God,for ifrighteousness[comes] throughthe Law,thenChristdiedneedlessly."
