"He wandersabout for food,saying, 'Whereis it?' He knowsthat a dayof darknessis at hand.
"He will not escapefrom darkness;The flamewill witherhis shoots,And by the breathof His mouthhe will goaway.
"[Then] be afraidof the swordfor yourselves, For wrath[brings] the punishmentof the sword,Sothat you may knowthere is judgment."
"Thoughhis sonsare many,they are destined for the sword;And his descendantswill not be satisfiedwith bread.
He keepsbackhis soulfrom the pit,And his lifefrom passingoverinto Sheol.
"But ifthey do not hear,they shall perishby the swordAnd they will diewithoutknowledge.
"Whatis my strength,that I should wait?And whatis my end,that I should endure?
"IfI calledand He answeredme, I could not believethat He was listeningto my voice.
And he threwthe pieces of silverinto the temple sanctuaryand departed;and he went awayand hangedhimself.
