"Howlongwill you saythesethings,And the wordsof your mouthbe a mightywind?
The heartof the wiseinstructshis mouthAnd addspersuasivenessto his lips.
As he had comenakedfrom his mother'swomb,so will he returnas he came.He will takenothingfrom the fruitof his laborthat he can carryin his hand.
Ephraimfeedson wind,And pursuesthe eastwindcontinually;He multipliesliesand violence.Moreover, he makesa covenantwith Assyria,And oilis carriedto Egypt.
The LORDalso has a disputewith Judah,And will punishJacobaccording to his ways;He will repayhim according to his deeds.
Whoamongyou is wiseand understanding?Let him showby his goodbehaviorhis deedsin the gentlenessof wisdom.
