"Trulythenyou are the people,And with you wisdomwill die!
"An idiotwill becomeintelligentWhen the foalof a wilddonkeyis borna man.
"Shall a multitudeof wordsgounanswered,And a talkativemanbe acquitted?
And showyou the secretsof wisdom!For soundwisdomhas twosides.Knowthen that Godforgetsa part of your iniquity.
Then Jobresponded,
"Should a wisemananswerwith windyknowledgeAnd fillhimselfwith the eastwind?
"But comeagainallof you now,For I do not finda wisemanamong you.
"For You have kepttheir heartfrom understanding,ThereforeYou will not exalt[them].
"I listenedto the reproofwhich insultsme, And the spiritof my understandingmakes me answer.
"Whatcounselyou have givento [one] withoutwisdom!What helpfulinsightyou have abundantlyprovided!
The richmanis wisein his own eyes,But the poorwho hasunderstandingseesthroughhim.
Woeto those whoare wisein their own eyesAnd cleverin their own sight!
We are foolsfor Christ'ssake,but you are prudentin Christ;we are weak,but you are strong;you are distinguished,but we are without honor.
I say[this] to your shame.[Is it] so,[that] thereis not amongyou onewise manwhowill be ableto decidebetweenhis brethren,
