"Whythen has thispeople,Jerusalem,Turnedawayin continualapostasy?They holdfastto deceit,They refuseto return.
"Your dwellingis in the midstof deceit;Through deceitthey refuseto knowMe," declaresthe LORD.
But I [have been] the LORDyour Godsincethe landof Egypt;I will make you livein tentsagain,As in the daysof the appointedfestival.
For the inhabitantof MarothBecomesweakwaitingfor good,Becausea calamityhas comedownfrom the LORDTo the gateof Jerusalem.
