So he fledwith allthat he had; and he aroseand crossedthe [Euphrates] River,and sethis facetoward the hillcountryof Gilead.
"It will be, [that] the nationor the kingdomwhichwill not servehim, Nebuchadnezzarkingof Babylon,and whichwill not putits neckunder the yokeof the kingof Babylon,I will punishthat nationwith the sword,with famineand with pestilence,"declaresthe LORD,"untilI have destroyedit by his hand.
"So allthe menwhosettheir mindto goto Egyptto residetherewill dieby the sword,by famineand by pestilence;and they will havenosurvivorsor refugeesfrom the calamitythat I am going to bringon them."'"
