The LORDhas spokento you, O remnantof Judah,"Do not gointo Egypt!"You should clearlyunderstandthat todayI have testifiedagainst you.
But Johananthe sonof Kareahand allthe commandersof the forcestookthe entireremnantof Judahwhohad returnedfrom allthe nationsto whichthey had been drivenaway,in order to residein the landof Judah--
and they enteredthe landof Egypt(for they did not obeythe voiceof the LORD)and wentin as faras Tahpanhes.
