"Thereforebehold,I am againstthe prophets,"declaresthe LORD,"who stealMy wordsfrom eachother.
The faceof the LORDis against evildoers,To cutoffthe memoryof them from the earth.
"Behold,I am againstyou, O valleydweller,O rockyplain,"declaresthe LORD,"You men who say,Whowill comedownagainstus? Or whowill enterinto our habitations?'
"Behold,I am againstthe prophets,"declaresthe LORD,"who usetheir tonguesand declare,'[The Lord] declares.'
"Thereforethussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,'Behold,I am going to setMy faceagainst you for woe,even to cutoffallJudah.
Thiswill be the signto you,' declaresthe LORD,'that I am going to punishyou in thisplace,sothat you may knowthat My wordswill surelystandagainstyou for harm.'
Therefore,thussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,I am againstyour [magic] bandsby whichyou huntlivesthereas birdsand I will tearthem from your arms;and I will letthem go,eventhose liveswhomyou huntas birds.
Therefore,thussaysthe LordGOD,"Becauseyou have spokenfalsehoodand seena lie,thereforebehold,I am againstyou," declaresthe LordGOD.
and I setMy faceagainst them. [Though] they have comeout of the fire,yet the firewill consumethem. Then you will knowthat I am the LORD,whenI setMy faceagainst them.
I will also setMy faceagainst that manand will cuthim offfrom amonghis people,becausehe has givensomeof his offspringto Molech,soas to defileMy sanctuaryand to profaneMy holyname.
I will setMy faceagainst you so that you will be struckdownbeforeyour enemies;and those who hateyou will ruleover you, and you will fleewhen nooneis pursuingyou.
But the prophetwhospeaksa wordpresumptuouslyin My namewhichI have not commandedhim to speak,or whichhe speaksin the nameof othergods,that prophetshall die.'
"The LORDshall neverbe willingto forgivehim, but ratherthe angerof the LORDand His jealousywill burnagainst that man,and everycursewhich is writtenin thisbookwill reston him, and the LORDwill blotout his namefrom underheaven.
"FOR THE EYESOF THE LORDARE TOWARDTHE RIGHTEOUS,AND HIS EARSATTEND TO THEIR PRAYER,BUT THE FACEOF THE LORDIS AGAINSTTHOSE WHO DOEVIL."
