For there was a tabernacleprepared,the outerone,in which[were] the lampstandand the tableand the sacredbread;thisis calledthe holy place.
"You shall makea tableof acaciawood,twocubitslongand one cubitwideand one and a halfcubitshigh.
"You shall setthe breadof the Presenceon the tablebeforeMe at alltimes.
"Then you shall makea lampstandof puregold.The lampstand[and] its baseand its shaftare to be madeof hammeredwork;its cups,its bulbsand its flowersshall be [of one piece] with it.
"Moreover you shall makethe tabernaclewith tencurtainsof finetwistedlinenand blueand purpleand scarlet[material]; you shall makethem with cherubim,the workof a skillfulworkman.
"You shall hangup the veilunderthe clasps,and shall bringin the arkof the testimonytherewithinthe veil;and the veilshall servefor you as a partitionbetweenthe holyplace and the holyof holies.
"You shall setthe tableoutsidethe veil,and the lampstandoppositethe tableon the sideof the tabernacletoward the south;and you shall putthe tableon the northside.
"Now thisis whatyou shall doto them to consecratethem to ministeras prieststo Me: takeoneyoungbulland tworamswithoutblemish,
"Thusyou shall doto Aaronand to his sons,according to allthat I have commandedyou; you shall ordainthem through sevendays.
"On the firstdayof the firstmonthyou shall setup the tabernacleof the tentof meeting.
"You shall bringin the tableand arrangewhatbelongson it; and you shall bringin the lampstandand mountits lamps.
howhe enteredthe houseof God,and they atethe consecratedbread,whichwas not lawfulfor him to eatnorfor thosewith him, but for the priestsalone?
nordoes [anyone] lighta lampand putit undera basket,but on the lampstand,and it gives lightto allwho are in the house.
norwas it that He would offerHimselfoften,as the high priestentersthe holy placeyear by yearwith bloodthat is not his own.
