So He drovethe manout; and at the eastof the gardenof EdenHe stationedthe cherubimand the flamingswordwhich turnedevery direction to guardthe wayto the treeof life.
And of the angelsHe says,"WHO MAKESHIS ANGELSWINDS,AND HIS MINISTERSA FLAMEOF FIRE."
He makesthe windsHis messengers,FlamingfireHis ministers.
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
The LORDreigns,let the peoplestremble;He is enthroned[above] the cherubim,let the earthshake!
Oh, giveear,Shepherdof Israel,You who leadJosephlike a flock;You who are enthroned[above] the cherubim,shineforth!
So the peoplesentto Shiloh,and from therethey carriedthe arkof the covenantof the LORDof hostswho sits[above] the cherubim;and the twosonsof Eli,Hophniand Phinehas,[were] therewith the arkof the covenantof God.
Now it cameabout when Joshuawas by Jericho,that he liftedup his eyesand looked,and behold,a manwas standingoppositehim with his sworddrawnin his hand,and Joshuawentto him and saidto him, "Are you for us orfor our adversaries?"

"Tellthe sonsof Israelto raisea contributionfor Me; from everymanwhoseheartmoveshim you shall raiseMy contribution.
therefore the LORDGodsenthim out from the gardenof Eden,to cultivatethe groundfrom whichhe was taken.
Now the manhadrelationswith his wifeEve,and she conceivedand gavebirthto Cain,and she said,"I have gottena manchildwith [the help of] the LORD."
"Behold,You have drivenme this dayfrom the faceof the ground;and from Your faceI will be hidden,and I will be a vagrantand a wandereron the earth,and whoeverfindsme will killme."
Then I looked,and behold,in the expansethat was overthe headsof the cherubimsomething like a sapphirestone,in appearanceresemblinga throne,appearedabovethem.
therefore I will giveit into the handof a despotof the nations;he will thoroughlydealwith it. According to its wickednessI have drivenit away.
