Now Esausawthat Isaachad blessedJacoband senthim awayto Paddan-aramto taketo himself a wifefrom there,[and that] when he blessedhim he chargedhim, saying,"You shall not takea wifefrom the daughtersof Canaan,"
and Isaacwas fortyyearsoldwhen he tookRebekah,the daughterof Bethuelthe Arameanof Paddan-aram,the sisterof Labanthe Aramean,to be his wife.
Then Isaactrembledviolently,and said,"Whowas he thenthat huntedgameand brought[it] to me, so that I ateof all[of it] beforeyou came,and blessedhim? Yes,and he shall be blessed."
So IsaaccalledJacoband blessedhim and chargedhim, and saidto him, "You shall not takea wifefrom the daughtersof Canaan.
and that Jacobhad obeyedhis fatherand his motherand had goneto Paddan-aram.
