It cameabout afterthe deathof Abraham,that Godblessedhis sonIsaac;and Isaaclivedby Beer-lahai-roi.
And I will makeyou a greatnation,And I will blessyou, And makeyour namegreat;And so you shall be a blessing;
And I will blessthose who blessyou, And the one who cursesyou I will curse.And in you allthe familiesof the earthwill be blessed."
Thereforethe wellwas calledBeer-lahai-roi;behold,it is betweenKadeshand Bered.
But Godsaid,"No,but Sarahyour wifewill bearyou a son,and you shall callhis nameIsaac;and I will establishMy covenantwith him for an everlastingcovenantfor his descendantsafterhim.
indeedI will greatlyblessyou, and I will greatlymultiplyyour seedas the starsof the heavensand as the sandwhichis on the seashore;and your seedshall possessthe gateof their enemies.
"The LORDhas greatlyblessedmy master,so that he has becomerich;and He has givenhim flocksand herds,and silverand gold,and servantsand maids,and camelsand donkeys.
Now Isaachad comefrom goingto Beer-lahai-roi;for he was livingin the Negev.
Now Isaacsowedin that landand reapedin the sameyeara hundredfold.And the LORDblessedhim,
"Sojournin thislandand I will be with you and blessyou, for to you and to your descendantsI will givealltheselands,and I will establishthe oathwhichI sworeto your fatherAbraham.
Josephsaidto his brothers,"I am about to die,but Godwill surelytakecareof you and bringyou up from thislandto the landwhichHe promisedon oathto Abraham,to Isaacand to Jacob."
His descendantswill be mightyon earth;The generationof the uprightwill be blessed.
