Now the LORDsaidto Abram,"Goforth from your country,And from your relativesAnd from your father'shouse,To the landwhichI will showyou;
And He saidto him, "I am the LORDwhobroughtyou out of Urof the Chaldeans,to giveyou thislandto possessit."
and it cameabout, whenGodcaused me to wanderfrom my father'shouse,that I saidto her, 'Thisis the kindnesswhichyou will showto me: everywherewe go,sayof me, "He is my brother."'"
but you shall goto my father'shouseand to my relatives,and takea wifefor my son.'
but you will goto my countryand to my relatives,and takea wifefor my sonIsaac."
"The LORD,the Godof heaven,whotookme from my father'shouseand from the landof my birth,and whospoketo me and whosworeto me, saying,To your descendantsI will givethisland,'He will sendHis angelbeforeyou, and you will takea wifefor my sonfrom there.
The LORDappearedto him and said,"Do not godownto Egypt;stayin the landof whichI shall tellyou.
"You are the LORDGod,WhochoseAbramAnd broughthim out from Urof the Chaldees,And gavehim the nameAbraham.
Did the godsof those nationswhichmy fathershave destroyeddeliverthem, [even] Gozanand Haranand Rezephand the sonsof Edenwho[were] in Telassar?
You whomI have takenfrom the endsof the earth,And calledfrom its remotestpartsAnd saidto you, 'You are My servant,I have chosenyou and not rejectedyou.
"Lookto Abrahamyour fatherAnd to Sarahwho gavebirthto you in pain;When[he] [was but] oneI calledhim, Then I blessedhim and multipliedhim."
"Sonof man,they who livein thesewasteplacesin the landof Israelare saying,Abrahamwas [only] one,yet he possessedthe land;so to us whoare manythe landhas been givenas a possession.'
But he saidto him, "I will not come,but ratherwill goto my [own] landand relatives."
"Therefore,COMEOUT FROM THEIR MIDSTAND BE SEPARATE,"saysthe Lord."AND DO NOT TOUCHWHAT IS UNCLEAN;And I will welcomeyou.
By faithAbraham,when he was called,obeyedby goingout to a placewhichhe was to receivefor an inheritance;and he wentout, not knowingwherehe was going.
I heardanothervoicefrom heaven,saying,"Comeout of her, my people,sothat you will not participatein her sinsand receiveof her plagues;
