Then Godsaid,"Let the watersbelowthe heavensbe gatheredinto oneplace,and let the drylandappear";and it was so.
Godcalledthe expanseheaven.And there was eveningand there was morning,a secondday.
"You aloneare the LORD.You have madethe heavens,The heavenof heavenswith alltheir host,The earthand allthat is on it, The seasand allthat is in them. You givelifeto allof them And the heavenlyhostbowsdownbefore You.
"He has inscribeda circleon the surfaceof the watersAt the boundaryof lightand darkness.
"He stretchesout the northoveremptyspaceAnd hangsthe earthon nothing.
He laysthe beamsof His upperchambersin the waters;He makesthe cloudsHis chariot;He walksupon the wingsof the wind;
He gathersthe watersof the seatogether as a heap;He laysup the deepsin storehouses.
The seais His, for it was He who madeit, And His handsformedthe dryland.
Allthe riversflowinto the sea,Yet the seais not full.To the placewherethe riversflow,Therethey flowagain.
Do you not fearMe?' declaresthe LORD.'Do you not tremblein My presence?For I have placedthe sandas a boundaryfor the sea,An eternaldecree,so it cannotcrossoverit. Though the wavestoss,yet they cannotprevail;Though they roar,yet they cannotcrossoverit.
He saidto them, "I am a Hebrew,and I fearthe LORDGodof heavenwhomadethe seaand the dryland."
For when they maintainthis,it escapes their noticethat by the wordof God[the] heavensexistedlong agoand [the] earthwas formedout of waterand by water,
and sworeby Him who livesforeverand ever,WHOCREATEDHEAVENAND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE EARTHAND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE SEAAND THE THINGS IN IT, that there will be delayno longer,
