Godcreatedthe greatseamonstersand everylivingcreaturethat moves,with whichthe watersswarmedafter their kind,and everywingedbirdafter its kind;and Godsawthat it was good.
There was eveningand there was morning,a fifthday.
Godblessedthem; and Godsaidto them, "Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe earth,and subdueit; and ruleover the fishof the seaand over the birdsof the skyand over everylivingthingthat moveson the earth."
But Labansaidto him, "Ifnowit pleasesyou, [stay with me]; I have divinedthat the LORDhas blessedme on your account."
"For you hadlittlebeforeI came and it has increasedto a multitude,and the LORDhas blessedyou wherever I turned.But now,whenshall I providefor my own householdalso?"
Godalso saidto him, "I am GodAlmighty;Be fruitfuland multiply;A nationand a companyof nationsshall comefrom you, And kingsshall comeforthfrom you.
"Bringout with you everylivingthingof allfleshthat is with you, birdsand animalsand everycreepingthingthat creepson the earth,that they may breedabundantlyon the earth,and be fruitfuland multiplyon the earth."
And GodblessedNoahand his sonsand saidto them, "Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe earth.
"Beholdnow,Behemoth,whichI madeas wellas you; He eatsgrasslike an ox.
The LORDblessedthe latter[days] of Jobmorethanhis beginning;and he had14000sheepand 6,000camelsand 1,000yokeof oxenand 1,000femaledonkeys.
Let them givethanksto the LORDfor His lovingkindness,And for His wondersto the sonsof men!
Also He blessesthem and they multiplygreatly,And He does not let their cattledecrease.
Your wifeshall be like a fruitfulvineWithinyour house,Your childrenlike oliveplantsAroundyour table.
It is the blessingof the LORDthat makesrich,And He addsnosorrowto it.
So I will turntowardyou and make you fruitfuland multiplyyou, and I will confirmMy covenantwith you.
