So the priestsand the Levitesacceptedthe weighedout silverand goldand the utensils,to bring[them] to Jerusalemto the houseof our God.
Now this[was] their number:30golddishes,1000silverdishes,29duplicates;
For I was ashamedto requestfrom the kingtroopsand horsemento protectus from the enemyon the way,becausewe had saidto the king,"The handof our Godis favorablydisposedto allthose who seekHim, but His powerand His angerare againstallthose who forsakeHim."
On the fourthdaythe silverand the goldand the utensilswere weighedout in the houseof our Godinto the handof Meremoththe sonof Uriahthe priest,and with him [was] Eleazarthe sonof Phinehas;and with them [were] the Levites,Jozabadthe sonof Jeshuaand Noadiahthe sonof Binnui.
For the sakeof the houseof the LORDour God,I will seekyour good.
