He measuredits length,twentycubits,and the width,twentycubits,beforethe nave;and he saidto me, "Thisis the mostholy[place]."
He builttwentycubitson the rearpartof the housewith boardsof cedarfrom the floorto the ceiling;he built[them] for it on the insideas an innersanctuary,[even] as the mostholyplace.
The innersanctuary[was] twentycubitsin length,twentycubitsin width,and twentycubitsin height,and he overlaidit with puregold.He also overlaidthe altarwith cedar.
Againstthe wallof the househe builtstoriesencompassingthe wallsof the housearoundboth the naveand the innersanctuary;thus he madesidechambersallaround.
and the cupsand the snuffersand the bowlsand the spoonsand the firepans,of puregold;and the hingesboth for the doorsof the innerhouse,the mostholyplace,[and] for the doorsof the house,[that is], of the nave,of gold.
Then the priestsbroughtthe arkof the covenantof the LORDto its place,into the innersanctuaryof the house,to the mostholyplace,underthe wingsof the cherubim.
Now he madethe roomof the holyof holies:its lengthacrossthe widthof the house[was] twentycubits,and its width[was] twentycubits;and he overlaidit with finegold,[amounting] to 600talents.
Then the priestsbroughtthe arkof the covenantof the LORDto its place,into the innersanctuaryof the house,to the holyof holies,underthe wingsof the cherubim.
The naveand the sanctuaryeach had a doubledoor.
The cityis laidout as a square,and its lengthis as greatas the width;and he measuredthe citywith the rod,fifteen hundred miles;its lengthand widthand heightare equal.
