"But you shall speakMy wordsto them whetherthey listenornot, for they are rebellious.

"Now, girdup your loinsand arise,and speakto them allwhichI commandyou. Do not be dismayedbeforethem, orI will dismayyou beforethem.
But the LORDsaidto me, "Do not say,'I am a youth,'BecauseeverywhereI sendyou, you shall go,And allthat I commandyou, you shall speak.
and sayto them, 'Listento the wordof the LORD,kingsof Judah,and allJudahand allinhabitantsof Jerusalemwho comein through thesegates:
"The prophetwhohasa dreammay relate[his] dream,but let him whohasMy wordspeakMy wordin truth.Whatdoes strawhave [in common] with grain?"declaresthe LORD.
"Thussaysthe LORD,Standin the courtof the LORD'Shouse,and speakto allthe citiesof Judahwho have cometo worship[in] the LORD'Shouseallthe wordsthat I have commandedyou to speakto them. Do not omita word!
Then Jeremiahthe prophetspokeallthesewordsto Zedekiahkingof Judahin Jerusalem
Then allthe officialssentJehudithe sonof Nethaniah,the sonof Shelemiah,the sonof Cushi,to Baruch,saying,"Takein your handthe scrollfrom whichyou have readto the peopleand come."So Baruchthe sonof Neriahtookthe scrollin his handand wentto them.
So I have toldyou today,but you have not obeyedthe LORDyour God,even in whateverHe has sentme to [tell] you.
Then Jeremiahsaidto allthe people,to the menand women--even to allthe peoplewho were givinghim [such] an answer--saying,
Allof them are stubbornlyrebellious,Goingabout as a talebearer.[They are] bronzeand iron;They, allof them, are corrupt.
"You shall speakallthesewordsto them, but they will not listento you; and you shall callto them, but they will not answeryou.
Then I toldthe exilesallthe thingsthat the LORDhad shownme.
"Sonof man,you livein the midstof the rebellioushouse,whohave eyesto seebut do not see,earsto hearbut do not hear;for they are a rebellioushouse.
"As for them, whetherthey listenornot-- for they are a rebellioushouse--they will knowthat a prophethas beenamongthem.
"Therefore,sonof man,speakto the houseof Israeland sayto them, 'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Yetin thisyour fathershave blasphemedMe by actingtreacherouslyagainst Me.
Moreover, He saidto me, "Sonof man,takeinto your heartallMy wordswhichI will speakto you and listenclosely.
"Sonof man,I have appointedyou a watchmanto the houseof Israel;whenever you heara wordfrom My mouth,warnthem from Me.
Then He saidto me, "Sonof man,goto the houseof Israeland speakwith My wordsto them.
"Now as for you, sonof man,I have appointedyou a watchmanfor the houseof Israel;so you will heara messagefrom My mouthand givethem warningfrom Me.
The mansaidto me, "Sonof man,seewith your eyes,hearwith your ears,and giveattentionto allthat I am going to showyou; for you have been broughtherein orderto show[it] to you. Declareto the houseof Israelallthat you see."
"Hearand testifyagainst the houseof Jacob,"Declaresthe LordGOD,the Godof hosts.
"Arise,goto Ninevehthe greatcityand proclaimto it the proclamationwhichI am going to tellyou."
teachingthem to observeallthat I commandedyou; and lo,I amwith you always,evento the endof the age."
