Thisis the numberof the thingsfor the tabernacle,the tabernacleof the testimony,as they were numberedaccordingto the commandof Moses,for the serviceof the Levites,by the handof Ithamarthe sonof Aaronthe priest.
The childrenof Amram[were] Aaron,Mosesand Miriam.And the sonsof Aaron[were] Nadab,Abihu,Eleazarand Ithamar.
So the kingsummonedJehoiadathe chief[priest] and saidto him, "Whyhave you not requiredthe Levitesto bringin from Judahand from Jerusalemthe levy[fixed by] Mosesthe servantof the LORDon the congregationof Israelfor the tentof the testimony?"
"For you have said,'My teachingis pure,And I aminnocentin your eyes.'
"Ifyou returnto the Almighty,you will be restored;If you removeunrighteousnessfarfrom your tent,
Then Jobresponded,
O LORD,whomay abidein Your tent?Whomay dwellon Your holyhill?
"You shall putinto the arkthe testimonywhichI shall giveyou.
"You shall hangup the veilunderthe clasps,and shall bringin the arkof the testimonytherewithinthe veil;and the veilshall servefor you as a partitionbetweenthe holyplace and the holyof holies.
Allthe pegsof the tabernacleand of the courtallaround[were] of bronze.
Now Bezalelthe sonof Uri,the sonof Hur,of the tribeof Judah,madeallthat the LORDhad commandedMoses.
"You shall placethe arkof the testimonythere,and you shall screenthe arkwith the veil.
AaronmarriedElisheba,the daughterof Amminadab,the sisterof Nahshon,and she borehim Nadaband Abihu,Eleazarand Ithamar.
"But you shall appointthe Levitesoverthe tabernacleof the testimony,and overallits furnishingsand overallthat belongs to it. They shall carrythe tabernacleand allits furnishings,and they shall takecareof it; they shall also camparoundthe tabernacle.
"But the Levitesshall camparoundthe tabernacleof the testimony,so that there will be nowrathon the congregationof the sonsof Israel.So the Levitesshall keepchargeof the tabernacleof the testimony."
Now in the secondyear,in the secondmonth,on the twentiethof the month,the cloudwas liftedfrom overthe tabernacleof the testimony;
"But bringwith you alsoyour brothers,the tribeof Levi,the tribeof your father,that they may be joinedwith you and serveyou, while you and your sonswith you are beforethe tentof the testimony.
Howfairare your tents,O Jacob,Your dwellings,O Israel!
Now on the daythat the tabernaclewas erectedthe cloudcoveredthe tabernacle,the tentof the testimony,and in the eveningit was like the appearanceof fireoverthe tabernacle,untilmorning.
Petersaidto Jesus,"Lord,it is goodfor us to be here;ifYou wish,I will makethreetabernacleshere,onefor You, and onefor Moses,and onefor Elijah."
"Our fathershadthe tabernacleof testimonyin the wilderness,justas He who spoketo Mosesdirected[him] to makeit accordingto the patternwhichhe had seen.
For we knowthat ifthe earthlytentwhich is our houseis torn down,we havea buildingfrom God,a housenot made with hands,eternalin the heavens.
a ministerin the sanctuaryand in the true tabernacle,whichthe Lordpitched,not man.
But when Christappeared[as] a high priestof the good thingsto come,[He entered] throughthe greaterand more perfecttabernacle,not made with hands,that is to say, not of thiscreation;
I considerit right,as longas I amin this[earthly] dwelling,to stiryou up by wayof reminder,
And the templeof Godwhich is in heavenwas opened;and the arkof His covenantappearedin His temple,and there were flashes of lightningand soundsand peals of thunderand an earthquakeand a greathailstorm.
Afterthese thingsI looked,and the templeof the tabernacleof testimonyin heavenwas opened,
And I hearda loudvoicefrom the throne,saying,"Behold,the tabernacleof Godis amongmen,and He will dwellamongthem, and they shall be His people,and GodHimselfwill be amongthem,
