It cameabout, as soonas Moses camenearthe camp,that he sawthe calfand [the] dancing;and Moses'angerburned,and he threwthe tabletsfrom his handsand shatteredthem at the footof the mountain.
Forever,O LORD,Your wordis settledin heaven.
When He had finishedspeakingwith him upon MountSinai,He gaveMosesthe twotabletsof the testimony,tabletsof stone,writtenby the fingerof God.
So he was therewith the LORDfortydaysand fortynights;he did not eatbreador drinkwater.And he wroteon the tabletsthe wordsof the covenant,the TenCommandments.
The tabletswere God'swork,and the writingwas God'swritingengravedon the tablets.

So he cutout twostonetabletslike the formerones,and Mosesroseup earlyin the morningand wentup to MountSinai,as the LORDhad commandedhim, and he tooktwostonetabletsin his hand.

Then Jeremiahtookanotherscrolland gaveit to Baruchthe sonof Neriah,the scribe,and he wroteon it at the dictationof Jeremiahallthe wordsof the bookwhichJehoiakimkingof Judahhad burnedin the fire;and manysimilar wordswere addedto them.
