"Then you shall bringAaronand his sonsto the doorwayof the tentof meetingand washthem with water.
"You shall makea screenfor the doorwayof the tentof blueand purpleand scarlet[material] and finetwistedlinen,the workof a weaver.
"You shall putthem in onebasket,and presentthem in the basketalong with the bulland the tworams.
Then he setup the veilfor the doorwayof the tabernacle.
When they enteredthe tentof meeting,and when they approachedthe altar,they washed,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
"Then I will sprinklecleanwateron you, and you will be clean;I will cleanseyou from allyour filthinessand from allyour idols.
"When the priestsenter,then they shall not goout into the outercourtfrom the sanctuarywithout layingtheretheir garmentsin whichthey minister,for they are holy.They shall puton othergarments;then they shall approachthat whichis for the people."
"The one to be cleansedshall then washhis clothesand shaveoffallhis hairand bathein waterand be clean.Now afterward,he may enterthe camp,but he shall stayoutsidehis tentfor sevendays.
"So you shall presentthe Levitesbeforethe tentof meeting.You shall also assemblethe wholecongregationof the sonsof Israel,
sothat He might sanctifyher, having cleansedher by the washingof waterwith the word,
"But it shall be when eveningapproaches,he shall bathehimself with water,and at sundownhe may reenterthe camp.
He savedus, not on the basisof deedswhichwe have donein righteousness,but accordingto His mercy,by the washingof regenerationand renewingby the HolySpirit,
let us draw nearwith a sincereheartin full assuranceof faith,having our heartssprinkled[clean] from an evilconscienceand our bodieswashedwith purewater.
